Buttasideup Website
I have now set up my own Graphic & Web Design Agency with some friends. It is called Buttasideup and we designed the website ourselves and I developed the website in-house. We hope the website is a useful tool for us to gain new business and to show potential clients the sort of work we can produce.
Artistic Gymnastics Website
This is the most recent website I built whilst at Wickedweb. It uses both javascript and flash elements. I built the site from scratch using a design that the senior designer created.
Each page has different callout boxes and the image of the gymnast in the top right corner changes on every page.
Marine Experience Website
I really enjoyed building this website, particularly the flash headers. As you can see they are a key feature of each page and it was important that I got the animation just right on them.
The site has some other interesting javascript elements to it, such as the left navigation and the concertina effect in the news section.
Resort Hoppa Website
I took over this website build after someone on the team went on holiday, he left me with the basic template & I had to create extra pages and features. The site is based around a form which is on the home page & replicated on other pages throughout the site. The form has javascript built into it, which makes it dynamic. Wickedweb designed site.
SEERA Website
This is definately the largest website I have ever worked on. Myself and a collegue from Wickedweb built this site mostly on our own. The senior developer built the CMS that the site uses, but we had to implement that into the html.
The biggest challenge was adding the hundreds of pdf documents into the site.
Made Website
Made is a unique fair trade jewellery shop where the products are designed by influential designers, then sourced and created within disadvantaged communities across East Africa.
Whilst at Wickedweb I helped to build the new re-designed site, also adding flash elements to the site. The finished site is very clean and easy to use.
Ryvita Website
I regularly worked on the Ryvita website whilst at Wickedweb, updating the new product ranges and new brands.
The site is made entirely in flash and so when updating it I had to work on the flash files. There was also a lot of work in Photoshop to get the images of products looking right for the site.
